ServiceNow System Administrator:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system configurations, workflow automation, user support, and ensuring the platform aligns with business needs. This role requires expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), system integrations, and ServiceNow best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user management, configurations, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop, configure, and customize workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts within ServiceNow.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and security by monitoring system health and applying patches/upgrades.
  • Support ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Service Catalog management.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement enhancements that improve process automation.
  • Perform integrations with third-party systems via APIs, MID servers, and web services.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure efficient platform utilization.
  • Collaborate with developers and IT teams to implement ServiceNow best practices and governance.
  • Document configurations, changes, and system procedures for future reference.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience with Salesforce automated test tools.
  • Expertise with supporting ServiceNow upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, and ITSM best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, and UI policies).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integration methods such as REST, SOAP, and LDAP.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and framework.
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or SecOps modules.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and security best practices.
